Glen Stassen

Glen Harold Stassen is a noted United States ethicist, professor and Baptist theologian. He is known for his work on theological ethics, politics, social justice, and for developing the "Just Peacemaking" theory in ethics on the question of war. He is the son of former Minnesota governor and nine-time Presidential candidate Harold Stassen.

Education

Stassen received his BA in Physics from University of Virginia, BD from Union Theological Seminary in the City of New York and his PhD from Duke University. Career

Stassen was a professor for twenty years at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently the Lewis B. Stassen is also contributor to Sojourners Magazine and has frequently appeared in the media, including the Los Angeles Times and The O'Reilly Factor.
