Trivia
*Two matches happened two times in the same World Cup ; both of them were in 2007, where Argentina won over France by a 34-10 win in the third place playoff (after a Argentina 17-12 win over France in the opening match), while South Africa and England played their group match with a 36-0 win for South Africa, and came to meet in the final which South Africa won 15-6.
*Jonny Wilkinson, with fifteen points in 2003 and six in 2007, is the only player to have scored in two Rugby World Cup Finals.
*Only six players have won the World Cup twice: John Eales, Dan Crowley, Phil Kearns, Jason Little, Tim Horan (all for Australia in 1991 and 1999) and Os du Randt (for South Africa in 1995 and 2007).
*Only two teams have reached a Rugby World Cup Final having previously lost a game: England in 1991 and again in 2007.
