"Laila" (Tamil:லைலா மெஹதின்)(born 24 October 1980) is an Indian actress, she has acted in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi language films. She made her debut in the Vijaykanth starrer Kallazhagar. The Mumbai based Laila then worked with Ajith in "Dheena" and "Parthen Rasithen" with Prashanth .

Then came "Dhill" and "Pithamagan" with Vikram. In between, Laila took a break and gone back to Mumbai. But she returned, with a bang, to Kollywood with "Ullam Ketkumae", in which she did a delightful role.

She was married to Mehdi (Iranian businessman) on January 6 2006, with whom Laila has been going steady for over 7 years. Their engagement had taken place nearly three years ago, according to the actress herself.
