Jean Erdman, Baron Dieskau

Jean Erdman, Baron Dieskau or Jean-Armand Dieskau, Baron de Dieskau (1701 – 1767) was a French general and commander in America for a part of the French and Indian War. He was defeated and captured at Battle of Lake George in 1755 by Sir William Johnson, and was finally released in 1763.
