Brian J. Robinson

Brian J. Robinson is a current bassist for Nitro Records' A Wilhelm Scream.

Brian was born in Milton, Ontario, Canada on August 30, 1981. He moved to Oakville, Ontario in 1987 and attended Munn's Public School and Montclair Middle School, where he formed friendships that lead to him starting his first band, and ultimately, musical career. He began his early musical career as a guitar player, but soon took interest in playing the bass. His first concentrated musical venture started with Shane Told (currently lead singer of the band Silverstein), Andy Lewis (currently a guitarist of Boys Night Out), and Joe Rozsa in a band called Jerk Circus. The band took a break to work on side projects and Brian joined The Fullblast and KWH with Lewis. Soon after, Jerk Circus was dissolved and The Fullblast became a full-time project. After several successful cross-country tours, an appearance at the SXSW Music Festival, and the release of two albums including The Contagious Movement Theory in 2005, The Fullblast parted ways early in 2006.

Brian is a multi-talented musician who also plays the upright bass, guitar, and drums. Has been a major contributor to the writing of his bands' songs. His bass of choice on stage is made by Ernie Ball. Brian is known for his highly technical, original bass riffs and occasionally taking flight off of an amplifier. Brian once sustained a concussion doing this while on stage during a tour stop in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He finished the set and was then taken to hospital.

Brian joined the band A Wilhelm Scream in April 2006.

Known as 'Bri'. Attended Fanshawe College in London, Ontario. Has had a hand in the designing of his bands' websites. Skilled with graphic design on Macintosh computers (self-taught).

He graduated from Iroquois Ridge High School in Oakville Ontario, where he was a valuable part of their music program for five years.

Brian currently lives in Boston with his new band. Parents names are Gordon and Marjorie. Has an older brother named Scott who lives in London, Ontario. He has been a lacto-ovo vegetarian for over 10 years.His girlfriends name is Tanja. She lives in Vienna- Austria.
