John Abadie (November 4, 1854-May 17, 1905) was a 19th century Major League Baseball first baseman. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Before he played in the major leagues, Abadie played first base for a semi-professional team in Easton, Pennsylvania. In 1874, the team beat the Philadelphia Athletics, the Philadelphia Whites, and the Brooklyn Atlantics. When the National Association expanded in 1875, Abadie and seven of his teammates were drafted because of the team's success.

Abadie played 12 games with the Philadelphia Centennials and Brooklyn Atlantics during the 1875 season, compiling a batting average of .224 (11 for 49) with 5 RBI and 4 runs scored.

After the 1875 season, the National Association lost 5 of its teams and was forced to fold. Abadie returned to playing semi-pro ball and never appeared in the major leagues again.

He died at the age of 50 in Pemberton, New Jersey.
