Hebridean (sheep)

Hebridean (sheep)

Hebridean is a breed of small black sheep from Scotland, similar to Soay. They are considerably smaller than most other breeds of sheep, fully grown ewes weighing only around 40 kilograms, and rams slightly heavier, at around 50 to 60 kilograms. A normal sized ram over 60 kilos would normally look out of place, as they naturally are, unlike other breeds, thin in figure.
