*Mostly flat terrain, small greens and natural water hazards.Currently the course is being redesigned to contemporary world standards.King George V and Queen Mary conferred the title "Royal" to the club to commemorate their visit to Calcutta in 1911. The most suitable time for play is October through March.
Apart from Golf it offers it houses tennis courts and a fine swimming pool. The Club also maintains a Lawn Bowls Pavalion in the Kolkata Maidan.
