Gregor "Uncle" Fučka (pronounced|ˈfutʃkɑ) (born August 7, 1971 in
Kranj ,Slovenia , SFR Yugoslavia) is an Italian-nationalbasketball player. He is a power forward of 215 cm (7'1") who signed for the 2007-08 season with Lottomatica Roma.Career
He has played for Olimpija Ljubljana in Slovenija in 1989-90, then he moved to Italy, playing for Stefanel Trieste (1990-1994), Stefanel Milano (1994-1997) and Teamsystem Bologna a.k.a. Paf Bologna a.k.a. Skipper Bologna (1997-2002).Then he has played in Spain for F.C. Barcelona (2003-2006) and Akasvayu Girona (2006-07). He came back to Italy in 2007-08, playing for Lottomatica Virtus Roma.

Fučka has won numerous tournaments, including the 1996 Italian Championship and 1996 Italian Cup with Stefanel Milano, the 2000 Italian Championship, 1998 Italian Cup and 1999 Italian Supercup with
Fortitudo Bologna .At 2003 Spanish National League, Spanish National Cup and
Euroleague and 2004 Spanish National League withFC Barcelona . With FC Barcelona he also won the Supercopa ACB in 2005.He played in the
Korać Cup final in 1995 and 1996 with Stefanel Milano. In 2000, Fučka was named the 2000 Italian League Finals MVP. In 2001, he earned the Italian League All-Star Game MVP trophy.Italia national team
Fučka played in the Junior World Championship in 1991, where he won the silver medal
Fučka played at the 2000 Olympic Games and won the gold medal at the 1999 European Championship, where he was named the Tournament's MVP. Fučka have also won a silver medal at the 1997 European Championship.
He played also at the World Championship for Young Men (22 and Under) in 1993, at the World Championship in 1998 and at the European Championship in 1995 and 2001
