St. James Canadians

St. James Canadians

The St. James Canadians were a Canadian Junior Hockey Team in the Manitoba Junior Hockey League, until the end of the 2003-2004 Season, which marked their 35th Anniversary in the MJHL. The Canadians played out of the St. James Civic Centre, in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

The St. James Canadians won the Turnbull Cup in the league 3 times (1968, 1996 & 1997) throughout their 35 years in the MJHL.

During the summer of 1967, community-minded sports group purchased the St. James Braves from Ben Hatskin, renaming them the Canadians.

An earlier version won the Turnbull Cup in 1944.
