Svartelva

Svartelva

Svartelva (in English: The Black River) is a river in Hedmark, Norway. It flows from Løten at Byenga westward into Romedal and is joined by a tributary, the Lageråa. From the point where the Lageråa joins, the river forms the border between Stange and Hamar municipalities, continuing until the outlet at Åkersvika into Mjøsa lake. The river is 18–26 meter in breadth, but shallow.
