Casey Rogowski

Casey Daniel Rogowski (born May 1, 1981 in Livonia, Michigan) is a minor league first baseman for the Oakland Athletics.

High School career

Rogowski attended Catholic Central High School in Redford, Michigan, and won All-State honors in football, wrestling and baseball. He was the state's heavyweight wrestling champion, and also a member of the state championship football team as a junior and a senior.

He is married to his highschool sweetheart (Libby Voshell) & they have one son, Cael.

Casey is the middle child in a Polish-Irish family of 5.

Minor League career

After high school, Rogowski was selected in the 13th round (399th overall pick) by the Chicago White Sox in the 1999 amateur draft.Here are his career minor league stats:
