Kirby Park railway station was a station on the Birkenhead Railway Hooton to West Kirby branch which opened in 1894. Originally considered an experimental station, it was constructed primarily of timber 800m to the south of the current West Kirby Station and served largely as a school stop.
Kirby Park railway station closed before the majority of the stations on the line in 1954 however for school purposes it remained open until 1956 and the only evidence that a station stood on this site is the entrance on Sandy Lane in West Kirby. The line was lifted and the trackbed was used to form the Wirral Country Park.
