Largy is a small
village inCounty Londonderry ,Northern Ireland . It is 5 km south ofLimavady , adjacent to the B192 Limavady toDungiven road. It is designated as a Hamlet. In1991 , it had 90 people, but in the 2001 Census, it had risen to 144. The village has evolved as a linear settlement with a church, primary school and other community facilities in proximity. In recent years, new development at Brookfield Park and the erection of a number of single dwellings along Pollysbrae Road has led to the increase in population.

*Largy Presbyterian Church, built in in the traditional meeting house style, was founded in 1834, and was extended in 1861 to cater for increased attendances following the 1859 revival. Re-roofing and refurbishment took place in 1994. There are about 130 families associated with the congregation.
