Sutton Valence School is a private school near
Maidstone ,Kent , UK. It contains around 540 pupils. It has an excellent reputation for sport, music, art, drama, as well as superb academic results in GCSEs and A-LevelsFact|date=February 2007. It is aco-education al school with a boarding option (approximately 1/3 of its pupils board). The three boarding houses are Westminster, St. Margarets, Sutton and for those in the first and second year Berasford. There is much historical rivalry between the two boarding houses Westminster and St. Margrets.Founded in 1576 by William Lambe, Master of the Clothworkers', and a member of the
Chapel Royal ofHenry VIII . It remained under the control of theClothworkers' Company until 1910 when it was taken under the control of United Westminster Schools, a charitable trust which also incorporatesEmanuel School andWestminster City School in London.The current headmaster is Joe Davies a member of the HMC. The school has an excellent sporting reputation, fielding particularly fine Rugby, Cricket and Hockey teams. The school is currently in the midst of renovation and expansion, building a new maths block, theatre and indoor swimming pool. The sports hall is dedicated to
