Steven Pinder

Steven Pinder (born 30 March 1960 in Whalley, Lancashire, England) is an actor, and also father of glamour model, Lucy Pinder, famed for not posing topless until April 2007.

He will forever remain best known for his role in the television soap opera "Brookside". He played Max Farnham in the series from 1990 to its conclusion in 2003.

Steven Pinder was born on 30th March 1960, and comes from a small family with just one younger sister. His sister's name is Catherine, she is 11 years younger than him and works in agriculture.

Steven got his first job working in a cemetery when he was 15. This was a Saturday job filtering soil using a course sieve called a riddle.

Previously in his career he played the part of Roy Lambert in "Crossroads" the owner of Kings Oak corner shop but when the program was axed he decided to make two series of the sitcom Foxy Lady. He has also appeared in "C.A.T.S eyes" and the BBC Scotland comedy series Scotch and Wry.

When he left Brookside he took part in several theatre roles playing Laurence in "Abigail's Party" and also appearing in a psychological thriller called "Dead Certain" where he worked alongside Jenny Seagrove.

Steven is engaged to Brookside co star Stephanie Chambers and they have a daughter Scarlett Rose. Steven has two other children from a previous marriage - Helen and Alex.
