Fox River (Little Wabash tributary)

The Fox River is a tributary of the Little Wabash River located in Southern Illinois. There is also a larger Fox River located in northern Illinois. And, there is a smaller "Fox River" that is a tributary of the Wabash River in southern Illinois, entering the Wabash near New Harmony, Indiana.

The Fox River of Southern Illinois arises to the southeast of Newton. It flows south to Olney. It joins the Little Wabash at the northeast corner of Edwards County, near Mt. Erie. The river is about 30 miles in length.
