Training
Bower trained with the Hart Brothers, but he mainly trained with Mr. Hito and Mr. Hase.
International Tag Team titles
Bower competed as Biff Wellington and frequently tagged with
Chris Benoit . In 1989, Wellington and Benoit beat Makhan Singh and Vokhan Singh to become theStampede Wrestling International Tag Team Champions. In June 1992, he and Benoit appeared in WCW at theClash of the Champions XIX, representingCanada in the NWA World Tag Team title tournament; they were defeated byBrian Pillman andJushin Liger in the first round. This was Bower's biggest expsoure in North America by competing in WCW.Eye injury
Biff Wellington had a brief stint in ECW. He sustained an eye injury in a freak accident in a match against Taz in 1996. Wellington then became dependent on
