Alabama breweries

There are six active breweries in Alabama:

* Emerald Coast Beer Company in Birmingham, Alabama
* Good People Brewing Company in Birmingham, Alabama
* Hurricane Brewing Company in Mobile, Alabama
* Montgomery Brewing Company in Montgomery, Alabama
* Mr Jims Cannon Brew Pub in Mobile, Alabama
* Olde Auburn Ale House in Auburn, Alabama
* Olde Towne Brewing Company in Huntsville, Alabama

A seventh brewery, the Birmingham Brewing Company, was in operation from 1992 until it closed in 1998. Its brands, Vulcan and Red Mountain, continued to be contract brewed until 2001.
