Peter "Pietros" Maneos (born
December 16 ,1979 ) is an American model, poet and writer. He was raised in King of Prussia,PA .Peter attended
The Haverford School andNorthfield Mount Hermon before attending TheUniversity of Miami where he majored inEnglish Literature and minored inClassical Antiquity . He first gained notoriety within popular culture in 2001 with his appearance in the famedAbercrombie and Fitch Quarterly photographed by Bruce Weber. After this he became a well-known model appearing inInternational Male , BodyBodyWear and a plethora of fitness magazines.In 2001, Peter under the pen name 'Pietros Maneos' published a poetry collection titled
The Soul of A Young Man , inRome ,Italy which was dedicated to his lost love Maria Arena. Due its Baroque style and emotional intensity, his poetry was compared toPablo Neruda andLord Byron .In 2005, Peter published his second work
Poems of Blood and Passion , which was dedicated toNatalia Pinheiro . He continued with the Byronic themes of lost love, forbidden passion, and personal angst. In January 2006, Peter appeared on theMTV documentary series "". This led to him being featured on CNBC'sThe Big Idea with Donny Deutsch where he debated steroid use withSuperstar Billy Graham , among other panelists.In January of 2007, Peter formed [http://www.FitnessWorkoutsInc.com FitnessWorkoutsInc.com] with his friend, Alex Daley.
