General Levy (real name Paul Levy) is a
London bornragga vocalist regularly employed on studio tracks bydrum and bass DJs. He is best known for the track "Incredible" which he did withM Beat .Life
General Levy was ostracised by the UK jungle scene in 1994 due to comments he made relating to his collaboration with M Beat on the seminal "Incredible". He had claimed in an interview with The Face that "I run jungle at the moment”. "Incredible" was featured in the motion picture, "
Ali G Indahouse ". General Levy's most known word was "booyaka" which has been attributed to "the closest sound to agunshot ", but which Levy claims is a salutation in the jungle scene. "Booyaka" is said many times in thesoundtrack . General Levy briefly collaborated with Rocco Barker of post-punk / gothic bandFlesh For Lulu in "The Space Police". Levy also featured on thesong "Only God Can Judge Me" by R&Bsinger ,Mark Morrison .He featured on many sound systems in the late 80's early 90's such as Java and Tippertone. He has sung a song with a popular indian dj calledDr Zeus called shake what your mama gave youingles
