page = 217] is currently a Judge on theSupreme Court of Missouri . He was born inCape Girardeau, Missouri , and is the son of federal district judgeStephen N. Limbaugh, Sr. , and a cousin of prominent radio commentatorRush Limbaugh . He earned his B.A. and J.D. degrees fromSouthern Methodist University . He continued his studies in the law with an L.L.M. degree from theUniversity of Virginia School of Law . Following a stint in private practice, he was elected as Prosecuting Attorney ofCape Girardeau County, Missouri at the age of 26 in 1978, serving one term before returning to private practice. From 1987 to 1992, he served as a Judge for the 32nd state Judicial Circuit, serving until his appointment to the state's highest court. From 2001 to 2003, he served one term as the state's Chief Justice. He currently lives in Cape Girardeau with his wife, the former Marsha M. Limbaugh. They have two grown sons. On December 7, 2007, PresidentGeorge W. Bush nominated Judge Limbaugh to theU.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri . He was confirmed on June 10, 2008.References
