Anjelika Akbar is a Turkish professional musician/pianist.
Biography
Anjelika Akbar was born as Anjelika Rosenbaum in 1969 in
Karaganda ,Kazakhstan . She began playingpiano at the age of 3 and writing songs as well as performing on the stage at the age of 5.She is the only child of a
musician and philosopher father ofJewish heritage and amusician mother of Turkish descent and nationality.She studied for eleven (11) years at
Tashkent 's National Uspensky Music School. In 1993 she became a Turkishcitizen and received herMaster's degree from the Hacettepe National Conservatory inAnkara .She was an instructor (1997-1999) at the State Conservatoire in
Ankara University. Since she came toTurkey she has had concerts inCentral Asia ,Baltic states ,Russia ,India ,Germany andTurkey . She was an invitee at theUNESCO National Committee forUzbekistan .Discography
