Harrisons were a four-piece guitar band from Hillsborough in
Sheffield ,England . They were one of the leading bands in the so-calledNew Yorkshire scene, along with fellow SheffieldersArctic Monkeys , Milburn,The Long Blondes andBromheads Jacket .In
2005 , they recorded a live session forPhill Jupitus ' show onBBC 6Music , and played theSouth By Southwest festival inTexas . They have also featured many times inNME , including a feature where the band guided a journalist around their favourite Sheffield haunts, includingSheffield Wednesday Football Club.The band signed a deal with
Melodic Records in2006 , and released their debut album No Fighting in the War Room in January 2008.Harrisons split one week before the album was released.
