South African Department of Provincial and Local Government

The Department of Provincial and Local Government is one of the ministries of the South African government. It is responsible for overseeing the provincial and local governments of South Africa.

Officials

As of 2006, the top officials of the Ministry of Provincial and Local Government were:

* Deputy Minister of Provincial and Local Government: Nomatyala Hangana
* Director General of Provincial and Local Government: Lindiwe Msengana-Ndlela

Mufamadi was succeded by Sicelo Shiceka in 2008.
