Shibani Bathija

Shibani Bathija is a female screenwriter in the Hindi film industry(Bollywood). She has scripted two Hindi films - Fanaa and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna. Both these films released in 2006. Fanaa, a Yash Raj Films production, was directed by Kunal Kohli and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna was directed and produced by Karan Johar.

Shibani Bathija was previously a creative executive for a prominent Indian television channel. She studied at the Cathedral and John Connon School in Mumbai, India and went on to pursue her undergraduate degree at DePauw University and her Masters degree in Film and Television at San Francisco State University in the United States of America.

She has just completed writing the script of Karan Johar's next, tentatively titled,'My Name Is Khan' starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol. And is leaving for San Francisco to start writing her next film. She has completed work on Sanjay Gadhvi's 'Kidnap (2008 film)' which releases in 2008.
