The Ed Blackwell Project

The Ed Blackwell Project was a band led by the legendary drummer, Ed Blackwell, in the last couple years of his life.

At the time of its last gig, the band's personnel consisted of Ed Blackwell, drums, Mark Helias, bass, Carlos Ward, alto sax/flute, and Graham Haynes (son of drummer Roy Haynes), cornett.
