Yousry Nasrallah (
Arabic : _ar. يسرى نصر الله) (born 1952) is anEgypt ianfilm director .Nasrallah was born to a Coptic Christian family in
Cairo . He graduated ineconomics andpolitical science atCairo University . Following, he worked as afilm critic and directing assistant inBeirut from 1978 to 1982. He became assistant toYoussef Chahine whose company Misr International would go on to produce his films. Nasrallah's works have dealt with themes ofleftism ,Islamic fundamentalism , andexpatriation .Films
