Rufus Jones (b.
London ,England 1975) is an Englishactor ,comedy andwriter .Rufus is a member of the British
comedy sketch group TheDutch Elm Conservatoire , They were nominated for thePerrier award at the 2005Edinburgh Fringe Festival .Rufus studied at
Cambridge University ( 1994-97 ). His acting background included early appearances with theCambridge Footlights , and more recently "Major Barbara" (Royal Exchange Manchester ) andBen-Hur (BACLondon ). His TV credits include "Secret Smile" (ITV ), "Bedsitcom" (Channel 4 ), Messia III (BBC ), White Teeth (Channel 4 ), "My Family " (BBC),Much Ado About Nothing (BBC),Love Soup , Extras (BBC2) and "Losing it" (ITV). Rufus played several roles in theBBC Radio 4 series "Deep Trouble". More recently he has built up writing credits including theBBC Radio 4 comedy show "The Bearded Ladies".For 2008 Rufus can be seen in the forthcoming series of "Comedy Cuts" on
ITV2 andPaul Merton s impro sketch show forITV1 "Thank God you're here". He is also working on a television sketch show with "The dutch elm conservatoire" forITV2 .External links
