Schoonloo (coord|52|54|N|6|42|E|type:city(70)) is a town in the Dutch province of Drenthe. It is a part of the municipality of Aa en Hunze, and lies about 14 km southeast of Assen.

In 2001, the town of Schoonloo had 70 inhabitants.
