Gieterveen (coord|53|2|N|6|50|E|type:city(367)) is a village in the Dutch province of Drenthe. It is a part of the municipality of Aa en Hunze, and lies about 19 km east of Assen.

In 2001, the village of Gieterveen had 367 inhabitants.
