Identityism

Identityism

:"Not to be confused with western Identity theory."

Identityism is the English term most often used to represent the school of Sufi metaphysics of unity of being traditionally known as "Wahdat-ul-Wujood" or "Wahdat al-wujud" (Arabic: Literally, unity of existence) formulated by Ibn Arabi. ["God Speaks", Meher Baba, Published by Dodd Meade, 1955, 2nd Ed. p.170] Identityism is similar to monism in the west and nondualism and advaita vedanta in Hinduism.
