Heritage Festival refers to one of a number of musical festivals held throughout America where high school-aged musical ensembles are ranked on an international standard. These groups include choirs, bands, and orchestras. The festivals were founded in 1980.

Chicago 2007

On April 1- April 6, 2007, a festival was held in Chicago.

Participants

The participants included, but were not limited to:
* Canyon Crest Academy
* SD School of Creative and Performing Arts, San Diego, California
* Appleton, Wisconsin
* Ruben S. Ayala High School, Chino Hills, CaliforniaBullard TALENT middle school, Fresno, California

Results

Winners include, but ARE NOT limited to:

*Ruben S Ayala High School:All the of the performing choirs (Men's, Women's, and Vocal) placed in Chicago. Women's celebrated the Gold and was also given an Outstanding Accomplishment Trophy for receiving the greatest points of all twenty two competing choirs. Men's received the silver award, and Vocal was awarded Gold and also earned the Adjudicator's Award. Joanna Holliman was given the Soloist trophy for her performances "I'll make a Difference" and "Saeya Saeya Parang Saeya."

*The San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts:Gold 1st in both vocal jazz and classical categories, Adjudicators Awards in both vocal jazz and classical categories, Sweepstakes Award, Best Overall Jazz Choir Trophy, Maestro Award for vocal jazz solo

Chicago 2006

On April 1, 2006, a festival was held in Chicago.

Participants

The participants included, but were not limited to:
* John F. Kennedy High School, Cedar Rapids, Iowa
*Palos Verdes High School (Palos Verdes, California)
* Lawrence High School (band), Lawrence, Kansas
* Northern Pines (choirs), Minnetonka, Minnesota
* Centennial Middle School [ South Lyon, Mi]

*Maestro award given to three soloists among the entire competition, includingjazz pianist Simon Sverdlov

Results

An awards ceremony was held on the evening of April 1 at Medieval Times in Schaumburg, Illinois.

Gold

The following groups, along with some other groups, received gold medals:
* Northern Pines chamber choir
* Northern Pines young women's chorals
* Northern Pines young men's choral

Chicago 2004

In late March, 2004, a festival was held in Chicago.

Participants

The participants included, but were not limited to:
* Fort Zumwalt South (choirs)
* Northern Pines (chamber choir)

Results

An awards ceremony was held at the Medieval Times dinner theater in Schaumburg, Illinois.

Gold

The following groups, along with others, received gold medals:
* Fort Zumwalt South chamber choir
* Northern Pines chamber choir

ilver

The following groups, along with some other groups, received silver medals:
* Fort Zumwalt South concert choir
* Fort Zumwalt South men's choir
* Fort Zumwalt South women's choir
