"Let the Beat Control Your Body" is the fifth and final single taken from Dutch group 2 Unlimited's second album "No Limits".

The single reached #6 in the UK and was markedly different from the album version, which in no doubt helped its success. The album version was largely instrumental and contained just a few spoken words by Ray and Anita. The single version however, contained full verses rapped by Ray and a new chorus sung by Anita. The title of the song was changed to "Let the Bass Control Your Body" in France because the word "beat" sounds very similar to the French word for penis.

Dance music artist Chaah (aka Susanne Jark) uses the melody from "Let the Beat Control Your Body" in her 1999 release entitled "The Funkiness of You". [ [http://mp3skyline.com/rid-0x3eb6c-chaah_-_funkiness-of-you--groove-gangstas-mix--mp3-download.html Mp3skyline.com] ]
