Preußen Münster in 2nd Bundesliga North. In 1978 he moved toWerder Bremen toFußball-Bundesliga . He remained with Bremen until 1987, when he moved toHamburger SV , finishing his playing career in 1989. Altogether, Möhlmann played in 255 Bundesliga matches, scoring 35 goals.His managing career started at Hamburger SV in 1992. From 1995 until 1997 he was manager of
Eintracht Braunschweig , then he moved to Greuther Fürth, staying at that club until 2000. From 2000 until 2004, Möhlmann was manager ofArminia Bielefeld , winning promotion to 1. Bundesliga in 2002, but the team was immediately relegated the year after. Möhlmann was sacked in February of 2004, but immediately found himself back in the job as manager of Greuther Fürth, again. In July 2007, he signed a contract with Eintracht Braunschweig, with the goal of winning promotion to 2. Bundesliga or at least qualification for the new3rd Liga . After a string of unsatisfying performances by the team, Möhlmann stepped down as manager in May 2008. From July 2008 he will be manager of Greuther Fürth for a third time.Honours
