(2002)"What a Waster" is the first single from The Libertines. A "", as used in the song, is an excessive user of drugs and alcohol. The song was used in the film "The Football Factory". The song received little airplay due to its unyielding profanity. "What a Waster" was initially left off debut album "Up the Bracket" but was later included as the 13th track on a subsequent re-issue.

The song was also covered by Adam Green.
