Tommie Eriksson

Tommie Eriksson (also known as Tommy Eriksson), is a musician who played in the symphonic metal band Therion. Eriksson was guitarist in 1995, drummer from 1996-1997, and guitarist from 1997-1998 (on "Vovin" and "Crowning of Atlantis").

Background

Eriksson, who spelled his first name "Tommy" before 1999, is a musician, composer and writer, as of 2006, residing in Sweden. Not to be mistaken for the other Tommy Eriksson from Tjörn, who started the Swedish Church of Satan). Tommie has published one book in Swedish "Mörk Magi" (ISBN 91-974102-0-9), released by Ouroboros Produktion. The book deals with the dark or Draconian/Typhonian, Left Hand Path tradition of occultism and magic. Tommie founded the metal band Nocturnal Rites together with Fredrik Mannberg in 1990, though then belonging to the death metal scene. Tommie left Nocturnal Rites in 1994. (From Nocturnal Rites Biography)

Shadowseeds released a cd-r based on the theories of Swedish 17th century mystic Johannes Bureus in 2004. The music this time being dark ambient.

In 2006 Tommie started a new, occult seventies rock/doom band called Saturnalia Temple.*
