Madhunapantula Satyanarayana Sastry is one of the most eminent personalities in pure telugu literature of recent times. He lived in Rajamundry in East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh of South India. He lived between 1920 and 1992. His magnum opus is Andhra Puranam. He was awarded the Andhra Pradesh Sahitya Academy Award for this.
