- Arbutus Ridge
Arbutus Ridge is a highly affluent, primarily residential neighbourhood in the heart of Vancouver's West Side. It is bordered by 16th Avenue in the north, 41st Avenue in the south, Mackenzie Street in the west, and East Boulevard in the east. The neighbourhood is characterized by larger than average lot sizes, with stately homes on tree-lined streets. Residents of the area enjoy relative seclusion in a quiet leafy enclave, while benefitting from the area's close proximity to downtown Vancouver, the University of British Columbia (UBC), local beaches including Kitsilano and Jericho, and the various shopping districts of West Side Vancouver. In addition, the 'Ridge Theater', an icon in Vancouver, provides residents with various art-house movie screenings.
