Boomer (porn star)

"Boomer" was an American porn star. He appeared in a series of Humps by "First Class Male", namely "Puppy Tales", "Puppy Tales II", and "Puppy Wags". His first and only appearance outside of this studio was in the Catalina Studios film, "Lifeguard on Duty" with Ted Cox and Matt Powers.

Although he had a long torso, he had short legs and was not well-endowed. He made up for these short comings with his outgoing personality and superior acting skills. The Boomer had all of the characteristics to become a very popular star. "Lifeguard on Duty" was an attempt to create a porn film with somewhat of a feasible plot line. It was also significant step from previous tawdry films in which Boomer first appeared.

The original "Boomer" grew up in Dickeyville and moved to Platteville after High School. He died of AIDS in 1995 and the screen name was subsequently adopted by another actor, Spencer Boomer, also known as "Spanky" or "Stoolboom".

Perhaps Spencer Boomer most innovative film was "Offenzee Pantz, SS!!!". This film, a first of its kind, featured not only gay but bi-sexual activity as well. Set in a World War II prison camp where the male prisoners cavorted among themselves as well as with the female "Nazi" guards, it featured realistic sets and a carefully written script.

With a little more coaching and experience, Spencer Boomer might have been a very successful actor. Although never famous, he did receive a certain controversial notoriety for his appearance in a gay "space" film as Dick Scobee, also the name of the astronaut who had died in the space shuttle explosion a year earlier [http://www.jsc.nasa.gov/Bios/htmlbios/scobee.html Dick Scobee] . Spencer Boomer received the Nob Hill Theater's "CAF Award" for best supporting actor for his work in "In the Middle and on Top" where he appeared with the veteran actor, Dick Swan.

Spencer Boomer has spent most of his life in Maui, Hawaii. He currently does not work.
