October 2 1982 ) is arugby league player who is a prop forward currently playing forHuddersfield Giants in the Super League inEngland . At 6ft 6in (198cm) he is currently the tallest player in Super League. The 18 st (114 kg) prop is the nephew of the legendary British
professional wrestler , Shirley "Big Daddy" Crabtree, himself a former rugby league player who played forBradford Northern , although he never made an appearance for the first teams due to his fiery temper. It was suggested Eorl's lack of this type of aggression is what held him back from further success, much to the annoyance of Eorlref|aggression, although in recent years this has improved somewhat and he is now one of the most promising forwards in the game.
Born in
Cleethorpes , Eorl Crabtree was later raised in the town ofMeltham ,Huddersfield since he was three years old and attendedHonley High School .Huddersfield Giants
