Richard Shane Reynolds (born March 26, 1968 in Bastrop, Louisiana) is a former starting pitcher in Major League Baseball who played for the Houston Astros (by|1992-by|2002), Atlanta Braves (by|2003) and Arizona Diamondbacks (by|2004). He batted and threw right-handed. Reynold's best season came in by|1999, when he won 19 games, had a 3.51 ERA, and 209 strikeouts. In a 13-season career, Reynolds posted a 114-96 record with 1403 strikeouts and a 4.09 ERA in 1791.1/3 innings pitched. He appeared in four different postseasons, all with the Astros.

Reynolds was the opposing starting pitcher to Kerry Wood in the game where he struck out 20 batters in a one-hit shutout.
