Anwara Taimur

Anowara Taimur (born 1936) was chief minister of Indian state of Assam from 6 December 1980 to 30 June 1981.She is leader of Indian National Congress party in Assam. In the history of Assam, she is the only lady and Muslim Chief Minister of the state. Her term as chief minister ended when the state was put under president's rule for six months.
