Miss Indiana USA pageant in 1960 but was unplaced at the national competition. She was later "Playboy " magazine's Playmate of the Month for its December 1962 issue andPlaymate of the Year for 1963. Her original pictorial was photographed byDon Bronstein .June was the model for the
Little Annie Fanny cartoon character that appeared in "Playboy". She also worked as a Bunny at theChicago Playboy Club and went on to work promotions for theUnited States Auto Club . Her second husband and two of her sons were race car drivers, and Cochran herself was the first woman to be in the pits for theIndianapolis 500 . She died in Wisconsin on May 21, 2004.
