"Phantom Moon" is the third studio album by singer-songwriter Duncan Sheik. Released via Elektra Records' Nonesuch Records imprint, the album was a collaboration between Sheik, who provided the stark instrumentation, and poet/playwright Steven Sater, who wrote the lyrics for the album. The album is considered a tribute of sorts to Nick Drake and his album "Pink Moon". The album features contributions from the London Session Orchestra, and from guitarist Bill Frisell.

This album is notable in part for its instrumentation. Bill Frisell provides the sole electric guitar part; the rest of the album was played on acoustic guitars, pianos, and strings. Also, percussion is very spare and only appears on a few songs. These instrumentation choices help create a mood of contemplation and spirituality that supports the lyrical content.
