Giles Gherson

Giles Gherson is Deputy Minister and Associate Secretary of the Cabinet, Communications, in Cabinet Office for the Ontario government. Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty announced [http://www.premier.gov.on.ca/news/Product.asp?ProductID=1023] Mr. Gherson's appointment, effective April 2, 2007, on March 8, 2007. Mr. Gherson was formerly editor-in-chief [http://www.marketwire.com/mw/release_html_b1?release_id=173175] of the Toronto Star, one of Canada's major newspapers. Previously, he was business editor of The Globe and Mail and editor-in-chief of The Edmonton Journal.
