Giampietro Stocco (born 1961) is an Italian author.
Stocco was born in Rome. He got graduated from with a degree in Political Sciences at the Università di Roma "La Sapienza" with a thesis about the national and ethnic minorities in
Europe , with a special focus on the cases of Bolzano-Bozen andSchleswig-Holstein . He studied for a masters in contemporary history inDenmark ,Odense University , at [http://www.ruc.dk/ruc/ Roskilde Universitetscenter] and [http://www.ifg.dk/ Institute of regional Studies ] inAabenraa . He lives and works inGenoa , as a journalist inRAI , the Italian public TV-service.Giampietro Stocco has published two novels: [http://www.frillieditori.com/books/neroitaliano_primo.htm "Nero Italiano"] (2003), an
uchronie in which he imagines thatItalian Fascism never enteredWorld War II ; the second is "Dea del Caos" (2005), thesequel of Nero Italiano. In March 2006 Dea del Caos was staged inFinalborgo by the [http://web.tiscali.it/teatrogarage/ Teatro Garage] of Genoa, directed by Lorenzo Costa.
