SS U.S.O.

The SS "U.S.O" (Hull Number 1811) was a Liberty ship built in the United States during World War II. She was named after the United Service Organizations, an organization designed to provide morale to soldiers deployed all across the world.

The ship was laid down on September 29, 1943, then launched on October 21, 1943. The ship survived the war and was sold into private ownership in 1947. However, in 1967, the ship was wrecked and subsequently scrapped.
