Yasuko Aoike

Yasuko Aoike (青池 保子 "Aoike Yasuko") is a Japanese manga artist, born on July 24, 1948 in Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi [ann name|id=26978|name=Yasuko Aoike] . Most of her works are shōjo manga, predominantly focused on romance, adventure, and light comedy, and many of them contain elements of shōnen-ai. She is included in Year 24 group. She is best known for "From Eroica with Love", which was originally published by Akita Shoten from 1978 and onwards. CMX began translating the stories into English and publishing them for a Western audience in 2004.
