TIME Sport International is a French manufacturer of cycling equipment, including
bicycle frame s,cycling shoe s, cliplessbicycle pedal s,crankset s, and gloves.Time is one of the leading brands of carbon fiber racing bicycle frames and forks. They use some of the highest-tech manufacturing techniques in the cycling industry.
Time ATAC pedals are a favorite of inner-city bicycle couriers, because of their small cleat size, ease of entry and exit, light weight, and reliability.
Time products gained fame in the early 1990's, when their pedals and shoes were used by multiple Tour de France winner
Miguel Indurain . This was a major change for the field, in which LOOK had been the most notable brand until then.Time has also sponsored ProTour teams Quick.Step-Innergetic and Bouygues Telecom.
The 2005 world champion
Tom Boonen rode TIME bikes during his successful 2005 season, including theRonde van Vlaanderen ,Paris-Roubaix , theTour of Belgium and the 2005 World Road Race Championships in Madrid, Spain. The following season, Time developed a special bike, the Time VXRS, for Boonen to ride in the 2006 spring classics. This bike featured several modifications, including wheels with more spokes, a flat section rim and unusually wide tires, as well as a longer wheelbase.
